at first, my main objective of opening this wordpress account is to combine ALL of my previous posts from all sorts of places i have been blogging for the past 5-6 years, into one blog.
i was planning to put only posts that i think is worth keeping.
then i realized that this plan of mine would take a HUGE amount of my free time, and free time does not come by easily now that i am a working person whose main concern is to NOT waste time in front of the computer when he could have been outside, enjoying japan.
enjoying life.
translation: i’m making lame excuses again because i’m just lazy.
with that said though, i’m not just going to abandon wordpress.
i’m just going to make some little changes in direction.
www.taopix.blogspot.com would be my main blog. i’ll write anything that i want.
on the other hand, www.taopix@wordpress.com would be the place for two of my favorite hobbies:
movies and photography.

to officially launch this not so drastic change in direction, here is a photo that i did recently:
where: an izakaya 5 minutes from the company (toyota city).
what: after a dance performance during the company’s party.
why: freshmen (and freshwomen?) are expected to perform anything interesting during such company parties. this is very normal in japan. fyi, my `performance’ is being the photographer, taking pictures of everyone. also acted as the coordinator for the 5 brave young japanese kids above. i salute my 同僚！(douryou – meaning same year co-worker)
